The 41st NAACP Awards took place in California last night and a host of stars including Sandra Bullock, Gabourey Sidibe, Keri Hilson, Mo’Nique & Jill Scott attended the event. The awards recognize the outstanding achievements in black literature & entertainment, TV, movie & music.
The movie “Precious” was the success story of the night – it won Best Picture, Outstanding Independent Film, Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture (Gabourey Sidibe), and Best Supporting Actress (Mo’Nique).
