John Legend goes back to the ’70s in the groovy video for “Wake Up Everybody,” the first single from Wake Up!, his covers album with The Roots. Common and Melanie Fiona also pass through to show some love.

The clip was shot by director Gil Green in Brooklyn at the same spot where Jay-Z reportedly filmed “Izzo (H.O.V.A.).”
